December Newsletter

Merry Christmas and wishing a very Blessed Christmas Holiday to our many wonderful customers.  May your days be filled with many blessings, lots of love, and time for rest and reflection.

We made a trip over the hill to Bellingham to celebrate grandson Marley’s birthday right before Thanksgiving.  Had a great time at his soccer party and timed our drives perfectly in between storms.

There’s a feeling of Christmas here at the Toolbox, with many toys, games, puzzles, science kits and much more.  We appreciate the many shoppers who have stopped by to check our new layout and thanks for your comments. It is quite the guessing game as to what to order and how much to order. Than maintain the right amount of inventory.

We have an assortment of Christmas (Christian ones too) pencils & stamps, and other small inexpensive items.  These items and anything from our ‘under $5 wall’ are great for stocking stuffers or for the teachers to give to their students as incentives.  Speaking of teachers, a quick reminder in these sparse times that a gift certificate for your child’s teacher is a very appreciated gift.

THANK YOU

Must thank a few people that helped make our Neighborhood Toy Store Day a success.  First, thanks to the people who brought food for the cats and dogs.  2nd to the Wenatchee Humane Society for the time, magnets, and adoptable animal pictures.  3rd to the ‘chocolate lady’ Carrie Lee Farris with Dove chocolates for the free samples and for bringing her father with whom we had some stimulating conversation.  4th to the main clown L-Bow!  Not only did he teach juggling skills to 34 youngsters, he also entertained and made countless balloon designs for the kids of all ages.  We also have to credit L-Bow and his following for the large turn out of people that had not previously been to the store.  5th and lastly a thank you to Penny & Tammy for demonstrating games, helping kids with crafts, and helping where needed in between.
