Time for another Newsletter from the Toolbox. Is spring just around the corner? I sure hope so, we're ready!! Dwight and I had a great "Christmas" with the Grandkids in Vancouver, last month. Daughter Tammy thought mom & dad needed a bit of exercise so they took us on a hike up "Beacon Rock" just outside of Vancouver on Highway 14. It was a bit wet and very windy when we started out. Dwight says to Tammy, “I thought this was going to be a nature hike - NOT a torture hike!!”. I envied the kids as they ran up the path, although Holly did wear out half way up. Tammy and Papa took turns carrying her on their shoulders, way to go Papa!! We also attended the Chinese New Year celebration that was held at the local community center. It is fun to learn about Holly's Chinese culture and she also enjoys learning about the place she came from.
Now lets see, what's happening this month. Not a lot although it is report card time again and time to gear up for the WASL!!
Parents if you find that your child needs a bit of help in certain subjects, we have flashcards, workbooks and games to help fine tune those subjects. We also carry WASL books and flashcards that cover all the grades and subjects with the WASL testing.
We have an assortment of books that cover the lifecycles for frogs, butterflys, apple trees and we have some decorations that also tie in with the cycles. We also have the butterfly pavilion, worm, and ant farms. Just a reminder, please keep me posted with what you would like to have us carry in the store. It is always a pleasure to get requests for certain books or products and exciting when I know that we have those “just right” ones for you. It is our goal to provide as much resource to you as we possibly can.

Yes, because of the great support that we have received from you, our customers, we are able to celebrate 10 years of being in business. I can't begin to tell you how thankful we feel for the past 10 years and we are working on some special ways to celebrate and to say THANK YOU!!

We have “Longfellows” and you ask, what are they. Well, they are cute, plush long animals that can just hang around your neck or flop over you arms or just cuddle with. They are even washable.
With Easter just around the; we have some fun Easter books and small inexpensive small gifts for Easter baskets.
